Investigators in the HRM Integrated Vice Unit arrested two johns in an undercover operation conducted last night.
The two men were arrested in the Windmill Road area of Dartmouth for allegedly propositioning an undercover police officer. A 52-year-old Halifax man and a 46-year-old Dartmouth man are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date charged with communicating for the purpose of prostitution.

Windmill Drugs
One man faces charges after a drug search yesterday evening in Dartmouth.
At 6:14 p.m. officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit, assisted by East Quick Response Unit officers conducted a search of a residence in the 300 block of Windmill Road. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia and one man was arrested at the scene without incident.
Forty-three-year-old Harold William Slaunwhite of Dartmouth is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today charged with drug trafficking.

Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
A man faces charges after a traffic stop Thursday afternoon in Dartmouth.
At 1:08 p.m. yesterday, officers assigned to the East Quick Response Unit stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Windmill Road. The driver was unable to produce a valid license but provided information that was found to be false. Officers were able to learn his true identity and discovered that he was prohibited from driving. The driver was arrested without incident and a subsequent search resulted in a quantity of marijuana being seized.
A 25-year-old Dartmouth man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face charges of driving while prohibited and public mischief. He is also scheduled to appear in court at a later date on a charge of drug possession.

Bus stop, wet day, she's there I say...

Go #10-8876 - Robbery - At approximately 9:30 p.m., a 23-year-old female, waiting for a bus in the area of Windmill and Albro Lake Roads in Dartmouth, had her purse grabbed by a male with a handgun. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was not injured during the incident. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 17-23-years-old, 5'9" tall, skinny build, blonde hair with scruffy facial hair and gap between his front teeth. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black knit toque, dark coloured jeans and bright white Nike sneakers. The matter remains under investigation.
