Amateurs at the Pizza Pro

Approximately 2:35 a.m., police responded to a robbery call at Pizza Pro, 252 Waverley Road, Dartmouth. Two suspects entered the rear of the business and approached the male clerk. One of the suspects held a handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. The delivery driver arrived and the two suspects fled without any cash. No one was injured during the incident. The only description of the suspects, they were described wearing all black hoodies pulled over there heads. The matter is being investigated by the General Investigative Section.

Men Have Needs

Like smokes. The letter "C" is a curious observation. This is the second hold-up in as many months at the store.

At approximately 2:40 p.m. on February 28th, two white males entered the Needs Store, 182 Victoria Road, Dartmouth. One man threatened the clerk with a knife. Both males left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. They were seen getting into an awaiting vehicle parked on Slaytor Street, which was operated by a third male. The vehicle is described as a 2010 dark blue Honda Civic. With a Nova Scotia license plate with the letter "C" in it.

If anyone has information that may assist police in this investigation, they are asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5020 or through Crime Stoppers at 1 800 422-TIPS (8877).

May Garden Holdup

At 9:09 p.m., a man entered the May Garden Restaurant, 136 Portland Street in Dartmouth, and asked the clerk to make change. The man went around the counter, pushed the clerk and demanded she open the register. The clerk ran for assistance and the man fled on foot empty handed. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect was arrested a short distance away and will appear in Court tomorrow to face robbery charges.

Double Double Trouble

Halifax Police Report:
At approximately 11:45 p.m., police responded to a 911 call at Tim Hortons, 621 Windmill Road, Dartmouth. The clerk stated, a male entered the store ordered a donut and attempted to grab the till of cash when it was open. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, leaving the till behind. No weapons used or threats made during the incident. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white male 35-40-years-old, approximately 6'tall, 200 lbs. Having a goatee and bushy eyebrows. He was wearing a brown hoddie with white lettering, beige jacket, black and grey winter hat, with ear flaps and tassel.

Common(s) Robbery

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP General Investigation Section are investigating a robbery which occurred in Dartmouth Wednesday night.
Police were contacted yesterday after a 17-year-old male reported being robbed at approximately 11:30 p.m the previous night while walking across the Dartmouth Commons. Two males came up behind the victim and removed his jacket which contained a cell phone and some personal items. The victim was not injured during the incident.
The first suspect is described as being a black male, light complected, 18 or 19-years-old, 5′10″, weighing 160 lbs., clean shaven with a crew cut. He was wearing a black hoody, grey sweat pants and had flashy earrings in both ears. The second suspect is described as a black male, dark complected, 18 or 19-years-old, 6′, weighing 160 lbs., clean shaven, and was wearing a black hoody and grey sweat pants.

Robbery on Main Street

Go #10-8963 - Robbery - At 8:43 a.m., police responded to a robbery in progress at the Petro Canada gas station on Main Street in Dartmouth. A female employee was robbed by a male suspect who produced a knife and demanded cash. The suspect was described as a white male, 5'4" tall, 150 lbs, wearing a navy blue jacket, light blue hat and a light blue face mask. The matter remains under investigation by the General Investigation Section.

Go #10-8876 - Robbery - At approximately 9:30 p.m., a 23-year-old female, waiting for a bus in the area of Windmill and Albro Lake Roads in Dartmouth, had her purse grabbed by a male with a handgun. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was not injured during the incident. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 17-23-years-old, 5'9" tall, skinny build, blonde hair with scruffy facial hair and gap between his front teeth. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black knit toque, dark coloured jeans and bright white Nike sneakers. The matter remains under investigation.
