Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
A man faces charges after a traffic stop Thursday afternoon in Dartmouth.
At 1:08 p.m. yesterday, officers assigned to the East Quick Response Unit stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Windmill Road. The driver was arrested without incident and a subsequent search resulted in a quantity of marijuana being seized.
A 25-year-old Dartmouth man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face charges of driving while prohibited and public mischief. He is also scheduled to appear in court at a later date on a charge of drug possession.
