Not happy to see you.

At 5:30 p.m., police received a call from tenants from an apartment building on Lakecrest Drive, Dartmouth. Reporting a male entered their apartment demanding money and indicated he had a firearm. Upon arrival, police encountered the accused in the hallway and noticed a bulge in his side pants pocket. The accused refused to show his hands while continuing to approach officers and was subsequently tasered. The accused was taken into custody with minor injuries and treated by EHS at the scene. No other injuries resulted.

An East Preston man has been remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility and will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Monday charged with robbery with a weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon and breach of probation.
